Redhat 9 - corrupt disc1.iso image?
This error comes from burning a ISO image as a ISO image. Check the burned CD\DVD and see what file(s) is burned on it. I searched the internet for a sollution, but all sollutions are about a bad burn and corrupt images. I downloaded the technet iso several times and burned it serveral times.

a clean phone line, a machine that works and doesn't corrupt bits in memory or on disk, and that you download in binary mode, not ascii mode. From what you're saying, it sounds like your CD 2 is corrupt (either in burning the CD or on the ISO image download). nm nmani...@vt.edu fa openbsd misc doesnt sound like too much of a problem to me because the boot.catalog was probably created by the iso mastering software when the iso image was created and therefore the md5 sum would not match because the file may not have existed as it does now when the sums were calculated.
